Julian Lewis is a Sales and Marketing professional. With over twenty-five years’ agency experience in Brussels, London, Paris and New York, Julian has had the opportunity to develop experience at a senior level across many industries.
Based in Brussels for the last ten years, Julian has been providing Sales and Marketing Consultancy to a variety of companies, universities and international organisations. Specialising in Business Development and Communication, Julian’s focus has been working with his clients to analyse the Sales Cycle and the contribution effective Communication brings to improving Sales Lead Development and Account Management.
Working with increasingly more international and diverse teams has also given Julian the chance to focus on training. Targeted training based on needs analysis has helped clients and their partners improves sales teams’ performance. Integrating this training into Human Resources development programs shows better trained salespeople sell more, and they manage their accounts better. More recent trends like using Social Media to generate Sales Leads have also been incorporated into Sales and Marketing training. Developing storytelling and anecdotal testimonials to build brand cohesion is used to foster engagement. Training focuses on learning how to create stimulating content for Social Media communities and take control over target segmentation.
Julian is a Visiting Expert at Solvay Business School, Brussels, where he gives training on Digital Presence and Brand to MBA and Advanced Masters programs.
An Honours degree in Economics from the University of Central England, Birmingham (UK) is complemented by a
MBA from ESCP-ESIC, Madrid. Julian is bilingual English/ Spanish, fluent in French with basic Dutch.
